True Connections
A friendly, people-first landing page for a friend-finding platform — warm enough to feel human, clear enough to convert.

True Connections is a fictional platform for meeting new friends nearby. The brief: a single landing page that makes a stranger feel safe enough to sign up — for a product whose whole value is meeting strangers.

The challenge
Social apps usually lean on either cold tech aesthetics or over-the-top dating clichés. Neither fits friendship. The page needed real faces up front, a tone that feels relaxed, and direct answers to the two questions everyone has: is it safe, and is it free?

The approach
The headline literally puts people inside the sentence: a row of tilted portrait cards sits between “right” and “people”, so the product’s promise is visible before a single word is read. One warm orange carries every call to action.
Features are presented as a bento grid — instant chat, safety and community — each illustrated with UI fragments like chat bubbles and profile cards instead of stock icons. Member stories, an FAQ that answers “is it free?” openly, and a blog preview build trust before the final sign-up.
The Webflow build uses reusable card components, a CMS-ready blog section and a mobile layout designed separately, not just stacked.

The outcome
A responsive, live landing page with a clear path from first impression to sign-up, and a component set — cards, FAQ, testimonial slider, blog teasers — ready to scale into a full marketing site.
